19th November 2023 was the day that the world as we knew it ended.
Some said it was a virus, some a curse and some a punishment from God. But whatever it was, it was real and it spread, it spread fast. Britain was one of the last to fall, on the third day there was one, final, emergency broadcast: “If there’s anyone left alive out there, may God have mercy on your souls” and then there was nothing but static. Though society crumbled there were those who clung on, the survivors.
You are one of them....

Welcome to Apocalypse,
Apocalypse is set in London about a year after the titular Apocalypse and your character is one of the few survivors who for one reason or another survived and made it past the initial outbreak and has been trying to survive ever since.
The RP itself will likely settle into the form of: you write a bit, then I write a bit, then you write your response and so on. Whilst depending on the number of sign ups I may not be able to update everyone daily (though that's definitely what i'm aiming for) it should hopefully be no less than an update every 2 days at the very very least and sooner wherever possible. So yeah, guess we'll see how long that will last.
Rules:
- You are not God and neither is your character, I am.
- Don’t god mod important NPCs, it's fine to an extent but they don't all exist just to obey your every word.
- Try to maintain some semblance of realism, using creative license in your RPs is fine and in many cases is encouraged but try not to go overboard.
- None of you are the last samurai, don’t run at a group of zombies wielding only a sword and expect to come out on top.
- Have fun, like many forum RPs this will probably end up dieing part way through for one reason or another but until then please do try to enjoy yourself.
